The spacious farmhouse does not simply provide a suitable setting for an antique and junk flea market for sundries from grandmother's time.
Owner Katja Schülke cleverly creates miniatures of her own: She assembles "wonder bags" on request, makes "bonsai" photo albums, shapes small handbags out of paper, and transforms everything into a surprising cabinet of curiosities.
The real highlight of Frieda's "little" barn, however, is revealed when you go up to the attic: Here, in what is probably northern Germany's only dollhouse museum, children's dreams come true and memories are awakened. Born in Saxony, Frieda has already collected over 100 original doll's houses and is now showing some of them here, from "Haus Gisela" to "Villa Monika".
