In the Lewitz village of Bahlenhüschen, an old forestry barn has been lovingly reconstructed. The barn doors are regularly opened for visitors for numerous events.
The Bahlenhüschen forest barn dates back to 1770, but has been reconstructed in the meantime. Today, the forest barn is a popular festival and celebration site. The annual Christmas market and the charcoal burner festival held every two years are particularly popular with locals and guests. The barn can also be booked for family festivities.
The forest barn is also the seat of the association Forstscheune Bahlenhüschen e.V. which is especially dedicated to the connection of man, nature, history, environment and homeland.
You can inform yourself about the activities and events of the association on the association page.
