Visit our thatched "Forsthaus Kölzin" with its extensive natural garden in the immediate vicinity of the town of Zarrentin and the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee. Here you will find plenty of peace and quiet in a rural idyll and relaxation from everyday life.
Enjoy your vacation, your weekend or simply a time out with us. The "Forsthaus Kölzin" was completely renovated in 2014/2015 and houses three vacation apartments. On the ground floor are the apartment "Schaale" (50 m²) for 2 persons and the apartment "Fuchsberg" (70 m²) for 2-4 persons. The apartment "Amor's Ruh" in the attic (80 m²) offers space for 4 persons. During the renovation we have attached importance to preserve as much as possible of the original charm of the house. Thus, the many exposed wooden beams, the old floors, dining tables made of old doors, wardrobes made of old beams and also the rediscovered clay wall on the first floor create a harmonious atmosphere. This is completed by mainly antique furniture, which has been lovingly arranged alongside new furniture throughout the house. In the large garden, with its old oaks and fruit trees, many seating options invite you to linger and relax or enjoy a cozy barbecue. The children can romp to their hearts' content or play in the sandbox. We are a partner of the Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee and owner of the regional brand "For body and soul".
