The forest school and recreation center of Zebef e.V. are located in the middle of the Biosphere Reserve River Landscape Elbe. Here we offer nature and experiential education programs for children and young people. The project participants can become active by building bows, accompanied tree climbing or other sportive offers.
In the Biosphere Reserve River Landscape Elbe, about 35 km south-west of Ludwigslust, between pine forests and wide meadows, lies the small village Alt-Jabel with the forest school and the recreation center of Zebef e.V. The forest school offers a wide variety of experiential education, environmental education or wilderness education activities (geocache, canoe building from willow rods, bat stalking). On excursions and events the nature of the "Griesen Gegend" can be got to know better. From one morning to several project days, we delve together with the children or young people into topics such as the forest ecosystem, "supermarket" nature, or the work of the forester. Group dynamic offers are also possible. On the spacious grounds there are 4 cozy bungalows and 2 log cabins and also a building with a large event and dining room. 50 children or adults can stay here during class trips, school projects or vacation camps.
