The bridge takes you across the Warnow River in the nature reserve and connects wetlands and natural meadows.
In the middle of the nature reserve "Durchbruchstal der Warnow und Mildenitz", which is located in the Sternberg Lake District Nature Park. On one side of the bridge there are wetlands and natural meadows, while on the other side steeply rising shore slopes can be seen in the forest. An area of unspoiled beauty.

Numerous residents, guests and companies from the Rostock and Bützow area have been involved in the establishment of this future climate forest. Oak trees were planted here for the first time in the fall of 2010 on 2 hectares. The edge of the forest is mainly supplemented with wild fruit trees (apple, pear) and shrubs (rosehip, blackthorn and others).

The nature village Eickhof is an idyllic spot in the heart of Mecklenburg, located directly on the Warnow River. On almost 6 hectares of nature village there is a lot of space and in the outdoor area with volleyball field, playground, campfire sites and wood oven also a lot to discover. You can even find a trail riding station for riders with their own horse here.

Schloss Neuhoff - this classic manor house stood empty for almost 20 years, but since the end of 2014 it has been inhabited and restored again. Already, the new owners and the newly founded cultural and equestrian association are dedicated to the topics of art & culture as well as equestrian sports.
Rühn Monastery is a well-preserved monastery complex dating from 1232. The owner is a non-profit, voluntary association. The monastery includes a monastery store and a tavern as well as an oil, mustard and vinegar manufactory.
