The fish canoe pass (canoe slide) is an adventurous attraction in Fürstenberg/Havel. Canoeists and fish can thus travel unhindered on a branch of the Havel from Röblin Lake to Schwedt Lake and in the opposite direction.
This bypasses the lock and the route used by motor boats. The bristle-lined pass overcomes a height difference of 1.60 m.
And it's as simple as this: Arrive, stow your paddle, then let yourself drift through the pass with the moderate current and, at the end of the approximately 50-meter ride, pick up speed yourself with muscle power. You should not miss this fun during a visit to the water city!
In the opposite direction, i.e. "up the Havel", the boats can be towed from the parallel walkway. Thanks to the fish-canoe pass, the boats can land directly at the city center of Fürstenberg, where there is a water tour rest area. It is only 50 meters to the historical market and tourist information.
