The glacial nature reserve Durchbruchstal der Warnow und Mildenitz impresses with its varied and unspoiled beauty. This also includes erratic blocks and smaller bedloads.
On the slopes of the Warnow breakthrough valley, bedloads of various sizes are noticeable in several places. The repertoire ranges from collections of small boulders to single large stones, the so-called erratic blocks. They originate from Scandinavia, were transported with the glaciers during the last ice age and remained lying during the melting of the ice masses. Information panels provide information about the occurrence, use, processing and significance of the rocks.
