in the church of St. Bartholomew, Ribnitz-Damgarten
The motif was sandblasted from colored overlay glass. In several states of painting, enamel and transparent colors were applied to the glass and fused together at 600 degrees.
"For me it was an honor, a joy and a great challenge to be allowed to design the altar windows for St. Bartholomew's Church. From the first contact with pastor Johannes Lehnert and later to the parish council and the architect Mr. Rolf Günther, there was a lot of agreement, so that the process of finding ideas was allowed to be a flowing.
The themes of the design: faith, love, hope and their liturgical assignment to the colors blue, red and green were to be made visible in an artistic design. Not the decorative function of the colored windows was the goal, but beyond that the desire that faith, love, hope may experience a recurring presence in St. Bartholomew's." - Thomas Kuzio-.
