Farm Shops, holidays in the countryside

Fish delicacies have been produced in Schwaan for more than 100 years. Just as self-evident as the know-how of our employees is the use of only high-quality ingredients. What we put in the can has tradition and is always reinvented for you.

We love herring. Herring fillets and herring fillet bites are the classics of fish delicacies and are still made by us according to traditional recipes. In sauces and creams or in jelly, with onions, seasoned with dill, exotic with curry or with a spicy chili note, this perennial favorite simply never goes out of fashion.

Our fried fish tastes so fresh because it "swims" from the pan into the can without any detour. There, herring and mackerel have time to further develop their hearty fried aroma in a mildly sour marinade.

It is not only delicatessen salads that come off the production line at Schwaaner Fischwaren GmbH. Our ready-to-eat fish soups such as the Rostock fish solyanka or the Mecklenburg fish pot are also very popular.

If you are looking for a change from soups and salads, you would be well advised to try our spreads, because our fish also makes a great spread. As fried fish paste, for example, with the hearty taste of our traditional recipe. Or as salmon pâté, which brings a smile to the face of every gourmet with its fine lemon note.

You can find out how many different creations the tasty sea creatures can be found in by visiting our factory outlet. Our employees will be happy to advise you.
