Simple and beautiful: Zarchlin manor house, © Krüger
Castles and Manors, Holiday flats, Co-working spaces, sustainable

Ecologically renovated house with design vacation apartments, seminar room, large kitchen and music rehearsal room. Plain manor house with 100 historic windows in the Mecklenburg Lake District. Awarded the Federal Prize for Craftsmanship in the Preservation of Historical Monuments.

The manor house is located on the outskirts of the village on a 3-hectare park-like property on the edge of the Mecklenburg Lake District.

It was built in 1879 and has been renovated since 2017 in accordance with the preservation order and ecological standards. Of course, there is running water, internet and heating in the apartments. But on the walls you will find clay and lime plaster and the 150-year-old original windows are painted with linseed oil paint. According to the motto "monument meets zeitgeist", modern comfort is carefully inserted into the listed substance. Modern bathrooms are paired with refurbished half-timbered beams, comfortable beds with original floorboards. In between you will find one or the other piece of designer furniture, an antique chair or a custom-made piece of furniture.

Each apartment has been designed individually and with a lot of dedication. The view from all apartments is into the green. Birdsong wakes up the guests in the morning. The house offers a communal kitchen, a large hall, a rehearsal room for musicians and a sauna.
