The Sparow Estate is located in the middle of the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heath Nature Park with the adjacent Müritz National Park.
Sparow Manor is surrounded in all directions by scenic highlights of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Located in the middle of the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heath Nature Park, the time-honored manor house invites you to stay. Sparow is directly surrounded by three lakes (Lake Plauer See, Lake Fleesensee, Lake Drewitz), with the Müritz, the largest lake completely located in Germany, only a few kilometers away. In addition to the lakes, the surrounding forests, moors and plenty of unspoiled nature invite you to take a walk and "unwind". For those who like it more active, the Sparow estate is a great starting point for various excursions: bike tours, carriage rides, or even a descent in the nearby summer toboggan run are ideal for active vacationers. Summer is definitely the most beautiful time of year for us and the Gutshof is a great place for a vacation with the whole family.
On our 3.5 hectare estate there are 34 apartments in the romantic orchard and 12 rustic double rooms as well as 3 comfortable suites in the manor house. As soon as the birds chirp and the first rays of sun greet the morning, it's time to head to the winter garden of the manor house. Because for an energetic start to the day, we serve a delicious breakfast there every day from 7 to 10 am.
If you want to take time to relax and feel good, you can do so directly in the resort. For the rainy days the swimming pool with about 4 by 10 meters and a pleasant 29 degrees invites you to relax when the lakes are too cold and have choppy waters. If you like it classic and really hot, you can quickly get your circulation going in the Finnish sauna at 95 degrees followed by a walk under the cold shower. Those who like it a little gentler will feel most comfortable in the Roman steam bath (or sweat bath) at around 40 degrees and very high humidity.
The Sparow estate is only about 30 minutes away from Waren (Müritz) or Plau am See by car or cab. From Berlin it takes about 2 hours and from Schwerin and Neubrandenburg you can reach Sparow in just over an hour by car. If you want to make a short stop from Berlin or Hamburg to Rostock or Kühlungsborn at the Baltic Sea in the unique and wonderful landscape of the Mecklenburg Lake District, you can do this directly at the Sparow Estate, because it is only a stone's throw away from the A19.
