Alt Guthendorf near Marlow is located pretty much in the middle between the old Hanseatic City of Rostock and the World Heritage City of Stralsund (both about 35 kilometers). To Fischland-Darß-Zingst, the beautiful beaches of the Baltic Sea and the National Park of Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft it is about 30 kilometers. In spring and autumn the large flocks of cranes and wild geese pass by. For nature lovers and gardeners we have very interesting destinations both in the immediate vicinity and in the extensive Recknitz Valley, in the first place, of course, the beautiful bird park Marlow.
