The 70-kilometer hike "Rügen Coastal Route Tour" promises beautiful scenic experiences. On the hiking trail you also come to the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Sicht. From here, a plateau-shaped chalk promontory, you have a wonderful view of the chalk formation that drops steeply to the sea.

In 1981, about 150000m³ of chalk rock broke off here. The sea has not completely eroded the rock until today, so you can see a clear white color in the water.The viewpoint was named after the historian, writer and publicist Ernst Moritz Arndt.
