Just in the middle of the center from the community Steinhagen, is the village church Steinhagen. The church is surrounded from: a parsonage, a cemetery, a barn and a meadow orchard. The gothic hall church was constructed in the 13th century.
The gothic brick hall church was mentioned for the first time in the year 1283. Worth seeing is inside the church the medieval fresco painting ( 1380), a crucifix on the altar (15th century), baroque paintings at the gallery, the pulpit an on the granite font (13th century). During a tour of the location you can see; the historical compound with listed parsonage, , a cemetery, a barn and a meadow orchard with seldom apple trees.
