Feel transported back to their childhood in the beautiful residential town of Putbus.

In the former monkey house, which was built in the times of Prince Malte, visitors and guests of our beautiful residence town Putbus find themselves transported back to their childhood. In 1994, the former monkey house of Putbus Castle became the Rügen Doll and Toy Museum. Mrs. Karin Ernst keeps a lot of dolls and toys from the past there. Each room is a look back to childhood. Dolls, stuffed animals, tin soldiers, ships, model trains and much more are presented. The museum is open daily.
