Since spring 2014, the Rügen island Ummanz offers the forest adventure trail "Des Försters Wald" as a new excursion destination for the whole family. On 1.9 kilometers you will find varied, informative and adventurous offers to get to know nature, especially the forest.

With the support of the Stralsund State Forestry Office, an adventure was created for children, but also for adults. The forest adventure trail is intended to bring the forest with its diversity and all its facets closer to young and old. Here you will find 18 exciting experience stations. All senses are addressed e.g. with the cone long throw or with balancing. The foresters - in the form of silhouettes - reveal interesting facts about the forest and its surroundings to young and old explorers at the push of a button. Along the path you will always find opportunities to rest and linger, for example on the relaxation loungers or in the hammocks. Whether by bike or on foot, the forest adventure trail is worth a visit at any time of the year. Special tip: A guided tour with the forester along the forest adventure trail.
