The Grevesmuehlen gallery holland mill dates back to 1878.
The Holländer windmill from 1878 (30 m high) ceased operation in 1970. After a five-year reconstruction, it is once again a proud landmark of the town of Grevesmühlen. The mill was privatized at the end of 1996. Since 1997 it has housed a glassblowing workshop and a small gallery, which are open for tours.

In 1763, the Hamburg merchant Philipp Heinrich Stenglin had the two-story brick Plüschow Castle built between Wismar and Lübeck. Today the castle is used for many cultural events and invites especially art lovers.
Rehna is home to one of the most beautiful and largest preserved monastery complexes in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The monastery offers space for art, theater and music and is a focal point for pilgrimage and long-distance hiking. Particularly worth seeing are the large monastery garden, the late Romanesque monastery church, the Kneipp basin on the monastery grounds, and the pretty town of Rehna with its half-timbered buildings.

Bothmer Castle is one of the largest baroque palaces in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It was built in 1726-1732 by the architect Johann Friedrich Künnecke. The builder was Imperial Count Hans Caspar von Bothmer.

The Wohlenberger Wiek is for the most part under nature protection. Nevertheless, you can really let off steam here with kites and sails. For this purpose, the municipality has set up a surfing zone from May 1 to September 15. The protected location makes the Wohlenberger Wiek a flawless shallow water playground with wind from west to northeast.
Just a few kilometers west of Wismar, you'll find a shallow water spot for northwest to northeast winds in Zierow. And there is even a camping site here. Please pay attention to the designated surf zone.
