Europe's 1st spa and healing forest offers a unique natural environment. Visitors can enjoy a walk through the tree-rich forest, try out the numerous exercise machines or attend one of the various events directly in the forest.
In 2017, the first certified European spa and healing forest opened in the Baltic resort of Heringsdorf on the Island of Usedom. The forest is free of charge for all visitors and offers every age group a place for rest and relaxation. The main path through the forest is also designed to be accessible. Due to the unique combination of oxygen-rich forest air and salty sea air, the spa and healing forest has a special climate, which has a particularly positive effect on respiratory diseases and cardiovascular problems. Throughout the year numerous events take place, such as tree readings, special therapy hikes or moonlight hikes. In 2021, the 1st Children's Healing Forest was also opened, which brings the topics of nature & health closer to our little ones in a playful way.
