A large park surrounds the former residence of the once large farm whose origins date back to the early 13th century. With extensive renovation of the house after the fall of the Berlin Wall, it now again reflects the atmosphere of bygone times: a historic island of tranquility!

Landhaus Schloss Kölzow: History - Nature - Peace - Culture

Landhaus Schloss Kölzow is nestled in an 80,000 square meter listed park, surrounded by unspoiled nature, in the undisturbed tranquility of the Mecklenburg countryside. The complex was the representative residence of a large agricultural business, to which our family has been connected since the early 13th century. It developed from a fortified tower complex, the remains of which can still be seen in the park, and which came into being with the conquest and Christianization of Mecklenburg by "Henry the Lion". After extensive renovation of the former manor house, the complex today again reflects the atmosphere of bygone times. The halls are decorated with numerous portraits of past generations who were connected to the house and its history.

Experience and enjoy the special atmosphere: 16 stately and stylishly furnished rooms offer you a "home away from home". We guarantee peace and relaxation with our soirées, artistic events and subsequent socializing over food and drink at a high level.

The house and park also offer an exceptionally beautiful setting for weddings, round birthdays and other occasions of special celebrations. One of the oldest churches in Mecklenburg is located opposite the complex. It was built soon after the fortified tower and was consecrated in 1230. Guided tours are available upon request.

At Landhaus Schloss Kölzow you will discover an island of restful relaxation from the hustle and bustle of digitally driven everyday life.
