The council servant's house belongs to the ensemble of the Gadebusch town hall.
In 1580, the council servant's house in half-timbered style was added to the Gadebusch town hall, which thus represents the oldest residential building in Gadebusch. After several alterations, it was used as a town archive from 1977. After a fire in 1994, the house was completely renovated in 1997/98 and now serves as a registry office.
