The Stralsund City Library has been located at Badenstraße 13 for over 100 years.

Our city library is a place to linger and relax, read and talk, browse and rummage - with no compulsion to consume or reason to enter. The number of visitors speaks volumes! The books have been joined by digital media such as eBooks and eAudios as well as films and internet spaces. The more than 100 information, training and leisure events for all ages each year provide a clear overview of the jungle of the media world. And they are a lot of fun.
