In the estate park you can discover a monument dedicated to Sabine von Bassewitz (1716-1790). She was considered by contemporaries as a "woman of great and rare talents".
Modern tradition meets hospitality. The manor house, built around 1805 on the edge of the Rostock Heath, was lovingly converted by the Eben family into a hotel-guesthouse in 1992, and has been renovated and expanded ever since.
