The town hall with elevator and the former district court building, connected by a corridor made of glass and steel, are today the joint representative administrative headquarters of the Malchow office.
Together with the Old Market, the peripheral buildings and the brick-red district court, the building, which is set far back, forms the design focal point of the historic city center.
