Open church daily 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Luther exhibition 2017 "Here I stood - Origin - Life - Departure - Outlook"; Evangelical Lutheran Church, built after the church fire in 1870 on today's Kirchberg in Feldberg.
In the historicist style, the cruciform brick basilica was built in Feldberg from 1872-1875 according to plans by J. W. Richards. The 54 m high tower is visible from afar. In the altarpiece there are paintings of the Ecce-Homo by Georg Kannegiesser from Neutsrelitz. By the way, the Luzin Canal, which connects the Haussee with the Breiter Luzin, was built because of the church construction in Feldberg. The transport of the bricks, which were manufactured in the brickyard in Lichtenberg at the Breiter Luzin, was much easier and faster over the water.
In the summer months the church is open for visitors.
