The village church Parkentin is the church of the Evangelical Lutheran parish Parkentin-Hanstorf in Bartenshagen-Parkentin in the district of Rostock.
Fieldstone in the east, brick in the west, surrounded by a wall of boulders - this is the indestructible combination of the village church of Parkentin. The three-nave Gothic brick church was built after 1250, the Romanesque choir made of fieldstone dates from the middle of the 13th century. The filigree wall and vault paintings from 1400 were extensively restored about one hundred years ago.
