Church Elmenhorst
The Gothic brick building, which was built around 1270, is part of the Lutheran parish of Kalkhorst St. Laurentius in the district of Nordwestmecklenburg.
The wooden tower of the church, which was added later, consists only of a timber frame covered with wood. Since 1927 it has carried three cast-iron bells with the respective names "Faith", "Hope" and "Love" imprinted on them.
Church services are held every 14 days at 10:00 am.

On the beach of the Wohlenberger Wiek are our 2,000 sea buckthorn bushes. In our farm store you will find numerous sea buckthorn specialties from our own cultivation and production.
On the 1st floor of the castle, the art gallery attracts vacation guests interested in art. Some rooms here also serve as accommodation for guests. Bothmer Castle is one of the largest baroque palaces in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It was built in 1726-1732 by the architect Johann Friedrich Künnecke. The builder was Imperial Count Hans Caspar von Bothmer.
The "Uwe Johnson" House of Literature is located in a former granary built around 1890 near Klützer Marktplatz.
