The Protestant church in Binz is situated on a hill and surrounded by beech forest.
As Binz developed into a larger seaside resort, the town was given its own church according to the plans of architect Reichert. It was built in neo-Gothic style between 1911 and 1913 on a spur of the granite mountains. The furnishings of the church come from various places. The altar with the crucifix, the pulpit and the organ façade were created by the Tyrolean carver Ferdinand Stufflesser. The pneumatic organ with 14 stops was supplied by the organ builder Grüneberg from Szczecin in 1913. The three steel bells from a Bochum bell foundry are still rung by hand with a rope. The Protestant church in Binz is not only attended by the local congregation, but also by a large vacation congregation in summer. Church services are held every Sunday at 9.30 am. Chamber or organ concerts are held twice a week in summer.
