Church Ahrensberg - one of the highlights of the small village.
The church Ahrensberg dates from 1767 and is a simple half-timbered building. You can see the remains of a tower clock on the south side of the church. In the 60s of the 20th century the tower was reduced because of dilapidation. This church has been on the list of endangered places of worship in our district for years. In 2016, the church is scheduled to receive an extensive and much-needed renovation. The complete roof, the outer facade and the windows will be renewed. Unfortunately, the baroque interior of the church will have to wait for restoration, as the sum made available is currently insufficient for this.
