This estate castle stands on the foundations of a 14th century moated castle and was built in 1846 by architect and master builder Eduard Knoblauch. It stands alone in the middle of 20 hectares of parkland with magnificent linden avenues and a dendrologically valuable tree population (oaks & beeches) as well as water courses.
