The castle hotel is located in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern between Mecklenburg Switzerland and Mecklenburg Lake District. The castle was built in 1848-1853 according to the plans of the master builder and Schinkel's student Friedrich Hitzig. It is one of the most representative noble buildings in the region and was reconstructed from 1993-1995. The castle hotel has 28 rooms which are divided into the categories double-single-classic rooms or suites. All rooms are equipped with WC, shower or bath, telephone, TV, radio and minibar.
