East of Rostock, between the Hanseatic Cities of Stralsund and Greifswald, the café-wunder-bar restaurant is located in Bad Sülze, directly at the market, in the oldest spa town in northern Germany. On our outdoor terrace you can enjoy the tranquility of the greenery and the view of the town church from 1362 with coffee and ice cream specialties

The café-wunder-bar is a modern culinary institution in the spa town of Bad Sülze. It is centrally located at the market, not far from the wonderful Rechnitzwiesen. Our sun-drenched winter garden is also available for you to linger. We are happy to support you in the organization of celebrations of any kind.

Opening hours: Sun - Thu 11:00 - 18:00, Fri & Sat 11:00 - 21:00.

Our café has become a popular venue for exhibitions by regional artists. Since 2014, the café-wunder-bar has been the venue for the Wunder-Bar concerts by the Freundeskreis Popkultur e.V..Enjoy small, fine club concerts of all genres such as rock, soul, blues, folk and jazz in a very personal atmosphere far away from the scene.

In the house of the cafe-wunder-bar there are also two vacation apartments. The vacation apartment "Schwalbennest" with approx. 35 square meters and well suitable for two persons. Here you will find a wonderful balcony facing south with a view of the historic church square. The modern shower room is bright and functionally furnished. A modern kitchenette is equipped for the small needs and also allows a longer vacation. The vacation apartment "Zaunkönig" with about 32 sqm is well suited for pilgrims and up to two people. Modern shower in the room, separate toilet, a kitchenette is equipped for the small needs. Enjoy the regional cuisine in the restaurant cafe-wunder-bar next door.

In our mustard mill in the beautiful village of Schlemmin we grind unpeeled, not de-oiled mustard in a cold grinding process with a 1000 kg heavy stone mill. Through this particularly gentle traditional grinding process, all essential oils are preserved.
