Café 7 is a colorful organic cultu café and the farm store of the SiebenGiebelHof. Here you can fill your pockets with the farm products after enjoying the Italian coffee specialties and the homemade cake: Preferential milk, yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese, sausage, meat and wood oven bread. NAturkostwaren are also on offer.
Located directly halfway between Hamburg and Berlin on the A24 (Suckow exit), Café 7 is the cultural café and farm store of the SiebenGiebelHof.
Behind the farm, 20 red-colored cows graze on 40 hectares of meadows and provide delicious milk, which is processed into dairy products in the farm's own raw milk dairy. On another 50 hectares of arable land grows the grain for the wood-fired bakery. A handful of Angler saddle pigs utilize the whey produced during cheese-making and the cleaned grain. Cottage cheese, yogurt, cheese and wood-fired bread taste like they used to, because they are original and made with great care without unnecessary ingredients.
The Landbau Gemeinschaft, the non-profit cultural association, ensures that there is always something going on in the cultural events calendar at www.siebengiebelhof.de with concerts, readings, theater and workshops.
Shopping at Café 7 is an evening adventure: kids love it because there's usually time to take a spin through the calf barn, watch the cats play, feed piglets and cuddle Chou Hei, the faithful farm dog.
The operator, Katinka Hartmann, offers Italian coffee specialties, homemade cakes and a weekly changing snack menu. Goods for daily use are also included in the extensive range, and all in eco-quality!
Café 7 has 40 seats, a stage with lighting system, a mixer and speakers, as well as a beamer and a screen. There are an additional 24 seats in the outdoor area. These facilities can be used for private events.
Café 7 is accessible. There are board games and toys for children. The SiebenGiebelHof works according to demeter guidelines.
Opening hours
Café 7 is regularly open Thursday - Sunday from 11 am - 7 pm. On Sundays we watch the crime scene together.
