Europe's largest butterfly farm is a tropical paradise on 5,000 square meters and about 2,500 free-flying exotic butterflies. Those who come to the farm already in the morning can experience how butterflies hatch in the so-called pupa house.
Every morning from 9:30 the facility comes to life with its extraordinary animals and plants. At the butterfly farm, there are thousands of butterflies from faraway lands to see in a huge tropical free-flight hall with a pond, mountains and exotic plants.
You can also admire Otto and Koko, the two parrots, a turtle enclosure, the unique insect exhibition, tarantula show, special exhibitions and in the outdoor area Armi, the eleven-meter ant sculpture.
The farm is complemented by an extensive collection of minerals and fossils. So there is something for every guest, from young to old. Due to its diversity of species and the many illustrative objects from nature and the environment, the butterfly farm is particularly popular with school groups.
