Ferry connection to Burgwall Island in Teterow Lake
Originally, the Teterow farmers let their cattle graze on the Burgwallinsel. At some point, they created a small ferry connection between the island and the mainland. In time, the island became a popular destination for excursions. A restaurant was built on the island and a passenger ferry was put into operation. It is still like this today. The Burgwall ferry operates from May to September to the Burgwall island.
