This heavy boulder is located about 200m from the Göhren beach. The part of the stone protruding from the water has a circumference of about 40m.
The legendary "Buhskam" or also "Buskamen" near Göhren is with its enormous approx. 1600 t the largest erratic boulder discovered so far in the whole of northern Germany. Depending on the water level, the stone giant protrudes about 1.50 m from the approx. 7 m deep water. On the surface of the hammer granite are innumerable bowls or cups, whose meaning and purpose, but also their dating, are not clarified until today. Cultic practices are usually assumed, but cannot be proven.
