Our varied landscape, shaped by the ice age, has much to tell. I would like to visit our beautiful forests with you, discover what traces of animals and people tell us and experience the forest as a place of peace and mindfulness.

"From barrow to harvester- the forest tells history".
We are in the nature park FSL and in a part of the national park on the way. I will tell you about the history of the formation of the landscape and we will go in search of traces of humans and animals in the forest. You will experience what a beech forest looks like without human influence, search for Bronze Age burial mounds in the middle of the forest and hear interesting facts about the Ice Age gully lake. "On the traces of the old Teutons- an old village deserted in the forest".
We will hike through a part of the FSL Nature Park in search of traces of the people who lived here in the past. There is a village deserted with remains of foundations to be discovered. Why was there a settlement here? How did people live? Why was this settlement abandoned? In the middle of the forest, without people, without paths, this is a special place full of silence and magic. The history of the origins and the influence of the ice age on this landscape will also be discussed. Duration and route: 3 h / 5.5 km Special features of the route: not accessible, partly without path 18 € adults / 10 € children up to 12 years / meeting point will be discussed at registration.
"Herb hike - edible wild plants".
In forest and meadow we go in search of edible wild plants. There are a variety of delicious herbs to discover, which provide our bodies with important ingredients, enrich our diet and are available in our environment. We will identify them, discuss the characteristics and any possible confusion. You will be given tips on collecting and storing them. You will learn about their uses in the kitchen and medicine cabinet. There will be an opportunity to gather herbs for your own use. There will be a handout for the participants with a plant overview and interesting facts. Duration: 2 h 15 € adult / 9 € child up to 12 y/ Meeting place will be discussed at registration.
