In the historic village ensemble Starkow you will find a surprisingly large and interesting brick basilica with wall paintings and a memorial organ (1860) as well as a listed historic garden from the 18th-20th century, embedded in the Barthe lowlands with old fruit trees, pergolas, baroque flower beds, bee house, perennial garden and a kitchen garden - everything like in grandmother's times.
Garden tours take place during events or on demand. If you have a little extra time, you can find friendly quarters in the Brick Barn and enjoy freshly baked cakes and coffee on Sundays from 1:00 to 6:00 pm. The association café of the Backstein-Geist-Garten e.V. is open from Easter to 31.10.
