See the four-gate city of Neubrandenburg from above? The Behmshöhe observation tower invites you to an impressive view.
On the initiative of the then Association for the Promotion of Tourism, a point of attraction was to be created in the Nemerower Holz. So in 1897 the town fathers decided to build an observation tower, which was opened to the public in 1905. The 34-meter high tower stands on the Behmshöhe and allows a magnificent view of the clear Tollensesee and the surrounding hilly landscape. In order to reach the viewing area, 111 steps must be climbed - the magnificent view rewards this effort in every case. The Behmshöhe lookout tower is not accessible for people with limited mobility.
