Guarded beaches, family-friendly, barrier-free

The Baltic resort Trassenheide is idyllically situated in the northern part of the Island of Usedom between the Baltic Sea, magnificent pine forests and wide meadows. Diverse adventure areas and rousing events are also part of the cozy Baltic resort.

In the family-friendly Baltic resort of Trassenheide, you will find everything you need for a relaxing vacation at any time of the year:

  • unspoiled nature
  • a variety of adventure areas and
  • one of the most beautiful, cleanest and safest beaches of the German Baltic Sea coast, which is ideal for children due to its shallow water area.

In addition to the main beach access, there are 2 other paved beach accesses for an accessible vacation experience. The beach chairs directly on the paved path are reserved for vacation guests with wheelchairs, handicaps or strollers. For unrestricted bathing pleasure, a bathing wheelchair is available for free loan at the main lifeguard tower, and the lifeguards are happy to help. The entire promenade area at Baltic resort Trassenheide is level and free of steps. Handicapped accessible toilets can also be found here, as well as at the train station and in the "Haus des Gastes". The latter is equipped with an elevator for all guests. Browse in the library there for a nice vacation thriller or inform yourself about the offers on the Island of Usedom. The staff will be happy to advise you. Rousing events from comedy to Schlagermusik to rock-pop genre, let the vacation become an experience.
Trassenheide is well connected to the cycling and hiking trail network of the Island of Usedom and is therefore an ideal starting point for excursions. The designated bike paths are paved and invite you to explore the island. The Baltic resort has two stops of the Usedomer Bäderbahn, which also allows an accessible trip to the south of Usedom.
