The Barracuda Beach Camp is located directly on Lake Neustadt and offers an ideal environment for those seeking relaxation.

We warmly welcome you to our newly created Barracuda Beach Camp. The large area has pitches for caravans, mobile homes and tents right by the lake. We ensure a pleasant stay with modern sanitary facilities, electricity connections directly at your vehicle's pitch and a wide range of leisure activities. The central location between Berlin and Hamburg and the proximity to Schwerin is the ideal starting point for cultural day trips. Thanks to the well-developed cycle paths, the Mecklenburg-Schwerin region is perfect for extensive cycle tours, e.g. into the neighboring Lewitz or to Ludwigsluster Castle. The campsite is easy to reach from the Neustadt-Glewe highway exit thanks to the close connection to the A24.

Neustadt-Glewe Castle

The oldest preserved fortress in Mecklenburg stands in Neustadt-Glewe. It is one of the best preserved castles in Mecklenburg and can be visited. At the castle, there is a museum that is well worth seeing, as well as a restaurant and a tourist information office.

City Hall Ludwigslust

Ludwigsluster Schlossstraße is the site of today's town hall. However, the two-story brick building was not always the seat of the city administration. It was built in 1780 by Johann Joachim Busch and initially served as a court house, the upper floor of which housed the Carton-Fabrique.

Natureum Ludwigslust

The oldest building in Ludwigslust, built around 1750 as a fountain house, houses the "Natureum am Schloss Ludwigslust". It was built to supply water to the fountains located behind the former hunting lodge. Today, the "Naturforschende Gesellschaft Mecklenburg e.V." has its headquarters here. On the first floor of the Natureum, nature and the natural history of western Mecklenburg are presented in six rooms.
