Campsites, family-friendly, cyclist-friendly, holidays in the countryside

Relaxed camping, that's what you can do with us. In the sparse pine forest are about 35 non-parceled pitches and our cabin village with 11 Finn cabins, picnic benches, the communal kitchen and the culture room. It is only a 5-minute walk to the beach and the harbor of Freest with shopping and restaurants.

In the "lee" of the island of Usedom at the mouth of the Peene River lies the fishing village of Freest. Away from mass tourism, you can enjoy the sea, river, beach, forests and meadows in a relaxed way or actively explore by canoe, bike or on foot.
Several restaurants and a small supermarket are in the village. You can buy fresh fish and smoked fish directly from the fishermen, in the fish store or the smokehouse.
And if you feel like a little more hustle and bustle, the small ferry will take you to Peenemünde on Usedom. The seaside resort of Lubmin with its long beach can also be reached in 15 minutes and the university and Hanseatic city of Greifswald in 30 minutes. In the neighboring village Kröslin there is a very nice sauna which makes even cooler days an experience.
Luxury for us is nature, peace and time. Time for family and friends. Time for conversations. Time to cook together. Time to enjoy nature and tranquility.
We are a small and natural campsite. Everything is a little crooked. The pitches are as big as the trees allow. Up to the neighbor is thereby usually a whole quantity of space. Our sanitary buildings are small but nice (renovated in 2017/18). In our Finn cabins find two people comfortably, but also a family with two small children place. They are freshly renovated and have a small heater for chilly days. We are open from Easter to mid-October.
Your campsite team lives on site and is ready to help and advise you. If necessary, we are happy to organize barbecue or cooking evenings together and are looking forward to our place becoming the communicative meeting point for old and new friends.
