The BACKSTEINHUS is a lovingly furnished vacation home with three individually furnished apartments on a former farm and offers a special vacation in the Achterland of the Baltic Sea island of Usedom. Do you like to travel alone, as a couple, with your family, a small or even a large group of up to 13 people? We have suitable and flexible solutions for every occasion in the vacation home and on the farm. The "Achterland" apartments can be combined with the "Utkiek" apartment and, if required, extended to include the "Achtern Diek" apartment.

In 2006, the idea was born to convert the brick shed on the old farm on the lagoon coast of Usedom into a modern vacation home. Since then, over many years, a beacon of hospitality has developed away from the seaside resorts on the most beautiful side of the island, not far from the long sandy beaches. At the same time, Verena & Holger Stein also started a small family, fulfilling another lifelong dream. They personally look after their guests with great passion. The whole gang takes great pleasure in creating the perfect setting for guests to enjoy an unforgettable island vacation. Interested parties are introduced to the Usedom highlights, regional specialties and insider tips of the Achterland with great dedication. If you are looking for peace and quiet and something special, but still have a thirst for adventure and prefer a moment of pleasure, you will find the best conditions for a wonderful break on the coast at the Hof am Haff. The court bell of the thatched barn accompanies every stay discreetly and rounds off the unmistakable vacation atmosphere in the historic ambience.
