Exhibitions and Galleries

The somewhat different gallery, where art, handicrafts, ceramics, jewelry, wood, metal can be found, from artists - hobby, semi-, or full professional - in any case from the region, Barth and Vorpommern-Rügen. And there is something for every taste. A garden to linger and drink coffee, a fairy tale puzzle for children and many small subtleties are there for visitors to discover.

What is artistic?
In our beautiful region live many people who live out their artistic and creative lives, but do not have the opportunity to show their works to the public.
Our goal is to offer both amateur artists and professionals a platform to present and sell their own works. To this end, we renovated the former carpentry building in 2019, creating over 300sqm of exhibition space for all those who want to show what they can do!

What awaits you?
A wide variety of unique paintings, photographs and sculptures to handmade pottery, shiny jewelry and much more. In addition to the exhibits, our gallery invites you to linger, browse and buy over coffee and cool drinks.
We would also like to give artists the opportunity to offer painting courses and the like or to hold readings and lectures.

So just courage- come to look or let us show what you can do.

From November to February and on public holidays, with the exception of May 1 and October 3, the gallery is closed!

Admission per person: 4,00 Euro

Under 150 cm tall, admission is free.

Save yourself who can! Ventriloquist Roy Reinker lets madness run wild and his puppets take to the water. Experience Germany's funny cruise from the Elbe to the Bermuda Triangle. Grandpa Siggi has his captain's license from the adult education center. Melvin the dragon is cooking up a storm and the new opera diva is causing glamor, tinnitus and panic among the men. The baby is now an influencer, the book Ironimus always has its back after storms and waves and some passengers stick to the anchor in protest. Roy Reinker is a ventriloquist and gifted entertainer who is determined to spend two hours "talking to himself". You can look forward to an elaborate multimedia show and the craziest puppets above the waterline. In 2024, both evenings sold out quickly (there was an additional show due to high demand), so don't wait too long to buy your tickets.

Comedy show with Tatjana Meissner

Tatjana Meissner is known as a woman who doesn't bend, except when it comes to sex. And has been for many, many years! It's understandable that the cabaret artist has to turn on her seat heater not because of the weather, but because of her back. In her new show, Meissner takes a confused but age-appropriate look at her scientifically confirmed future as an old white woman and, with the best will in the world, no longer recognizes where inside or outside and who is male or female. With heart, mind and humor, the passenger seat heater lover gets to the bottom of all social peculiarities and shows gastrosexual ways out of every private, political and conjured-up crisis. Intelligent, fast-paced and hilarious, the entertainer searches for familiar and future-proof rituals that give everyone the certainty that they are not crazy. Sex, for example. Tatjana Meissner's mentally and physically very moving insights and outlooks are diaphragm-straining, sometimes erotic and in any case surprisingly uplifting.

Die Berliner Distel presents: 2025 - It wasn't all good The year in review A new government, old problems and plenty of reasons to have a good laugh about the year. Humor pros Henning Ruwe and Martin Valenske take no prisoners: They deliver punchlines more punctual than the train and meet the satirical need for conversation with pointed and blunt remarks. The audience can expect a furious review of the year in well overdosed sharpness. Watch out, very funny!
