The Malchow Monastery Art Museum is located in historically renovated rooms where works of art are presented in their uniqueness. The history of regional artists becomes a tangible experience.
In the wing where the former refectory of the Malchow monastery was located, the works and the study of the Malchow-born artist Rudolf Gahlbeck (1895 - 1972), of the artistnstler Sieghard Dittner (1924 - 2002), who lived in Malchow for many years, the artist Friedrich-Franz Pingel (1904 - 1994), who was born in Malchow, as well as Peter Hesse (1921 - 2008), are made accessible to a broad public.
