The Bernsteintherme consists of two main areas, the seawater pool and the thermal pool. The seawater bath includes a sports pool, a non-swimmer pool and a children's pool, as well as a current pool.
The water area is over 850 square meters. The sea water is the water of the Baltic Sea. The water temperature in the bath is 28 degrees, in the children's pool 30 degrees. The swimming pool is 25 meters long. There are also two dry saunas and a solar garden, as well as a self-service restaurant in this area. The thermal bath has a brine bath with an outdoor pool and a water temperature of 32 degrees. The total water area is about 425 square meters. The seawater used is enriched with natural brine from Sülbeck in Lower Saxony. The area also includes a beach sauna with three different dry saunas and a steam sauna, plunge pools, relaxation rooms and direct access to the beach, where the Baltic Sea can be used as a plunge pool. Furthermore, there are Ayurvedic and cosmetic treatments as well as classic massages. There is also a restaurant in this area. In the Bernsteintherme there are also two double bowling alleys (Bohle). Guests of the Baltic Sport and Holiday Hotel have direct access to the spa.
