Museums

Live & work in the countryside!

The informative Agricultural Museum was opened in 2000 in the former blacksmith shop and surrounding open space. The Forge & Agricultural Museum offers: numerous implements, plows, cultivators, seed drills, sowing harrows prepared and in working order, skid steer harvesters for potato harvesting and other farming implements. The visitors can admire various chopping machines, beet and potato cutters, grist mills, a potato sorting machine and millstones dating back to 1850. During a guided tour, one learns how old the individual exhibits are (some pieces even date back to the 18th century) and what material value the equipment had at that time (e.g. threshing box = 530 RM, beet cutter = 79 RM, sowing harrow = 33 RM).
