Guarded beaches, family-friendly, barrier-free

Warnemünde is home to one of the most modern accessible beach accesses in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

The beach access No. 4 (near the lighthouse, height Seestraße 9) offers a closed service chain for mobility-impaired guests during the season. The Baltic Sea shore and the beach chairs can be reached via the pathway with non-slip slabs. At the beach chair rental you can rent an accessible beach chair, a beach wheelchair as well as a bathing wheelchair. With the assistance of a companion, bathing in the Baltic Sea is possible. An accessible toilet and parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity of the beach access.
