The ride into the blue starts in Crivitz. After just a few kilometers, Lake Pinnow glistens, followed shortly by the large Schwerin Lake. Wonderful deciduous forests reach all the way to the shore.
Secluded bays invite you to jump into the cooling water. From the bird paradise Döpe at the northern tip of the lake, the path leads to Dorf Mecklenburg. It owes its name to the former Slavic Michelenburg. Along meadows and fields, cyclists reach Neukloster, on whose lake monks built a monastery long ago.

The Sternberg Lake District Nature Park includes about 90 larger and smaller lakes and two whimsical rivers. True adventure romance spreads in the breakthrough valley of the Warnow near Groß Görnow and in the Old Slavic temple village of Groß Raden, which is one of the greatest archaeological treasures in Germany. Through the fragrant pine forests of the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heath Nature Park, the trail leads to the Dobbertin Monastery and Lake Dobbertin.

The third stage continues through the nature park to Krakow and around the lake of the same name. The nature reserve Nebeldurchbruchstal reaches as far as Seerahn and the small river pours into Krakow Lake here. The Nebel is the river with the most fish and the cleanest flowing water in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The nature reserve Krakower Obersee with its eight islands, shallow bays and deep lake areas provides habitat and breeding opportunities for numerous bird species.

On the last stage, one lake after the other entices you to take a refreshing swim. Behind wooded hills the magnificent town church of Sternberg becomes visible. The narrow streets of the small town lend a touch of the Middle Ages. The last few kilometers take you through woods and meadows. On the way, a fairy-tale castle sits enthroned in Kaarz in the middle of the beautiful landscape park with over 500-year-old oaks and exotic sequoia trees.
